qp() in Octave 3.0.0 returns result egregiously violating input constraints

Hi Gabriele,
Thanks for your resonse. I have an email with an attachment containing an
example of the problem,
but it's awaiting moderator approval since it's slightly over the 100K
message limit.
By the way, what format would be most convenient for me to send an example
of the problem in?
