'save_precision' doesn't work

I think the right place to host public functions for Octave is
savannah.

I think there is always some amount of management required for these
tools.

Is the savannah bug tracker good enough?

If so, then we could start using that fairly soon, but it will require
changing some information about how to report bugs, and for some time
I expect it will require doing something about bug reports that are
posted to the bug at octave.org mailing list.  Would you like to help
with that job?
