bug in clf.m

clf.m contains the line

	set (cf, "currentaxes", []);

On my system, running the latest cvs, this line in clf.m produces the  
error below.

	error: invalid conversion from real matrix to real scalar

I'm running Mac OS X Leopard (10.5.1), and using gnuplots aqua terminal.
