I wanted to look at plotyy once listeners were properly in. Though with 
your reason inputs it seems that bit of the code is subject to change so 
I hesitate to do it at the moment. In any case, could you supply me with 
a short example of how the listener might be setup and used.

BTW, what about the issue of "clear all; plot(...)" seg-faulting. That 
looks like an easy one to fix as its just some code not being mlocked..
