Ok, I misunderstood the message (it was late at night). I thought the
issue was have mapper functions with a double argument that returned a
complex value.. As for the Sparse functors, I suppose its just a matter
of moving the map functions from dSparse.cc, boolSparse.cc and
CSparse.cc into the Sparse<T> class and using templates to instantiate
them. The code should be almost identical in the three cases..

Sure if you want a patch for this I'll supply one..
