opps ... I forgot to hit (send) :-(
I am unfamiliar with how gnuplot's binary transfer. However, I noticed
what appeared to me to be an inconsistency for the implementation of
surface plots. The attached changeset works for me.
I'm still seeing some strange behavior when I type
surfnorm (peaks)
surf (peaks)
... but I'm not yet sure what is happening.
