Description:

plotyy does not work when it follows figure(1) or clf;
Repeat-By:

run the following script and it works fine:
x = 0:0.1:2*pi;
y1 = sin (x);
y2 = exp (x - 1);
ax = plotyy (x, y1, x - 1, y2, @plot, @semilogy);
xlabel ("X");
ylabel (ax(1), "Axis 1");
ylabel (ax(2), "Axis 2");
run this script and it complains:
figure(1)
x = 0:0.1:2*pi;
y1 = sin (x);
y2 = exp (x - 1);
ax = plotyy (x, y1, x - 1, y2, @plot, @semilogy);
xlabel ("X");
ylabel (ax(1), "Axis 1");
ylabel (ax(2), "Axis 2");
Replace "figure(1)" with "clf" and it also does not work
The error I get is:
