about latest versions

excution of the following line on both octave-3.0.2 and octave-3.0.3 on my windows old machine:

a=rand(1000);tic;b=inv(inv(a));toc,

the times was  5.406 seconds for octave-3.0.2,
and                27.181 seconds for octave-3.0.3,
what happend?.
