Hello
Please show your operating system and octave version at the question.
Perhaps the problem seems to be octave 3.2.0 (for windows).
At octave 3.0.3 (MSVC no longer distributed) and octave 3.0.5 (MinGW) (signal-1.0.8)
chebwin(5,18)
ans =
0.59255
0.84822
1.00000
0.84822
0.59255
At octave 3.2.0 (MinGW) and 3.2.2 (MinGW build myself) (signal-1.0.10)
chebwin(5,18)
ans =
NaN
NaN
NaN
NaN
NaN
Perhaps bug was introduced in signal-1.0.10 or octave-3.2.2.
I cannot reply in detail.
BTW, chevwin is a function in signal package in octave-forge project but not octave itself.
It is recommended to ask at octave-dev at lists.sourceforge.net which can be subscribed at
https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/octave-dev
In this time please reply to all the address including octave-dev at lists.sourceforge.net to save record
in octave-dev at lists.sourceforge.net. Please use the octave-dev at lists.sourceforge.net if you ask the
question concerning to octave-forge packages from the next time.
Regards
Tatsuro
