Can't install a package in 3.1.53ff

Hi,

I currently cannot install a package with Octave 3.1.53 and future versions. 
Trying to install my OdePkg I see that compilation is successful but then I get 
an gen_doc_cache error. I currently don't have the time to look at it in detail 
but does anybody else see this problem or already has a bugfix? Thanks.
