I recommend you talk to whoever's in charge of those machines and
upgrade them soon to etch, the next stable release. Lenny will release
soon[1], and you may have a much harder time making a double hop
between two stable releases instead of two distinct hops. Do it now
while the etch release notes and upgrade path is still available on
the Debian servers.
