forgot to mention that octave version 3.0.3 crashed with the same program

hello,

    just now I have send a plot generated with octave 3.0.1 version running on vista.

    when I had downloaded version 3.0.3 and ran the program it crashed with 
    segmentation violation, core dump. what is the reason for 3.0.3 crashing
    while 3.0.1 working for the same program?
