Who and where is using octave?

Search the octave mailing lists from 2006 or 2007 we had a similar 
thread. I wish
we had a marketing arm for such querys :-).

Maybe once you have presented whatever you have you, you will be kind enough
to share the 'report' in whatever form (a similar email?) with the 
community.
