Rather than pointing you to the individual pages, I should have  
directed you to the octave home page

On the left, click on "Download" ... which takes you to,

	http://www.gnu.org/software/octave/download.html

You should find links for Linux, Mac OS X, Sun Solaris, Windows, and  
OS/2.
