CYGWIN1.DLL, octave 2.1.73 under MS-Millenium Edition

Hello,

is there a chance to produce grafical output
with octave 2.1.73 (or even newer octave)
on a MS-Millenium OS.
When I try to plot, I receive a error-message:
Failure in Modul CYGWIN1.DLL at 018f:610b2c16

Is there a proper CYGWIN1.DLL that I can use
instead of the original octave 2.1.73-CYGWIN1.DLL?
