Old versions of Octave not available

In fact they aren't removed (sourceforge doesn't allow that), but they 
are hidden as their use is strongly discouraged. Try linking directly 
with something like

http://master.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/octave/<filename>

where <filename> is the name of the file to download.. Unfortunately, as 
these files are hidden good luck finding out what the name is supposed 
to be :-)
