Interactive Graphics

Help,

   I am doing a graph 'slide show', XP SP3, and timing the changes with 'pause'.  However, I would also like the ability to use a mouseclick or keypress to activate the change.

    In Matlab I would implement this with a ui button, but as far as I can tell the Octave graphics is totally devoid of such.

    Can you tell me of a way that I can do this?
