Creating a standalone executable:Debian Lenny, P6

Hi All,

I'm using Debian Lenny Linux on an intel P6. Can I convert an octave script file (myfile.m) into a standalone executable such that a user will simply run:
../myfile
without the user having to install octave and any function files called by myfile.m? .
