'Make check' gets error in mandriva 2009.1

hello, today I compile octave 3.1.55 in mandriva 2009.1, but 'Make check'
gets error and says 'liboctave/Sparse.cc
....................................panic: Aborted -- stopping myself... ' . 
I got this error in mandriva 2009.0 with octave 3.0.x before too.
Additionally,  'make check' passes in  debian lenny.
