-ffast-math option at compling octave in FreeBSD ports ?

The original inquirery of this thread:
-ffast-math option was found at compling octave in FreeBSD ports

was found to be misleading of the questioner of the octave thread in Japan.

The fact is that  -ffast-math option was found in math/atlas.
