Native TikZ backend?

Yeah, it's a really nice format; my papers have never looked as good :-)

I think most 2D objects should be fairly straight-forward to implement
(the only exception being images), so I'll probably implement most 2D
stuff at some point. The problem being that I'm way too short on time. I
don't think I'll work on 3D stuff, though, as that seems to require a
lot of work (but perhaps I'm missing the obvious).

But as I said, time is the largest issue at hand. So, feel free to join
the effort :-)
